I think the mint knows that there are a lot of ASE collectors out there and they're just trying to cash in on that. They will all look great in my CAPS album! The star privy looks pretty good (a whole lot like Dearborn's, as a matter of fact), and after all my griping about it, it is kinda cool to have a bullion ASE that I know was minted in Philly without having to rely on a slab for verification. But, I'm not interested in buying a series of ASEs with whatever privy mark the mint decides to put on them. Each year I will continue to buy the W Proof, S Proof and W Uncirculated but no more privy marks. I don't think the U.S. Mint has announced anything official yet, but Google around a little bit and you'll see a few hits on it. This article for instance. At the bottom of this Nice Gang page there is a reference to the "next coin in this groundbreaking collaboration". It certainly could be another ASE. Time will tell I guess.
