Hi. I have never seen such a large size one dollar American coin. Can anyone tell me if this is a normal coin or a souvenir medallion type of coin? The third photo is of the coin beside a US half dollar which I think is a normal size.

Your one dollar Eisenhower has the normal size. Thats the size for those coins

That's the normal size of Ike dollars. It's normal.

The Ike dollar was the same size as the Peace and Morgan silver dollars (so yours is the correct size). The new dollars are much smaller. See below for modern dollar examples

I thought it might be a medallion or something. Why is it not magnetic since it is a normal coin and not silver.

The clad layers are made from 75% copper and 25% nickel - nickel is magnetic but there is not enough of it in the clad layers to attract a magnet. The clad layers are sandwiched between a layer of pure copper.
