Hello, I was recently given this coin. I know nothing about it, except it's old. Could anyone tell me if it's valuable...

Eisenhower dollar. I like them all. I am biased.

He has had some environmental exposure, but it is an interesting look.

Oh, a bicentennial dollar! I collect those because I was born that year, and.

I agree.

But still a fun keeper—again, I am biased!

It's circulated. Only worth face value. No premium.

The last of the "full-size" dollars were issued in 1978, but this one is just a clad coin — mostly copper — and basically worth face value in this condition, as others have noted.

this coin has seen some strong environmental conditions to get this worn look, to me worth face value, BUT, it may hold sentimental value.

Attaboy! Things made in 1976 are just now gracefully transitioning from prime to vintage. Old? Pfffft.

That must have been an epic year for parades and fireworks. Age 7 would have been the perfect age to enjoy that all. Young enough to still get stoked for fire trucks, old enough to stay up late for fireworks.

Indeed. I was living in Knoxville at the time and have fond memories of many events held that year.

Okay sorry, I wasn't born or even thought of in '76. Since my grandfather gave it to me I assumed it was old. #128076;#127996;#129318;#127997;#8205;#9792;#65039;
