No problem! We all get old eventually. For some of us, eventually is now.

For what it is worth, I have a 1922 Peace dollar my grandfather gave me. It was the year he was born and his grandmother had given it to him.

Save this Ike for your grandchildren.

You think you're old? My father was born in 1922.

In a sense, your grandfather was right. After all, sentimental value is worth more than monetary value any day. While this bicentennial coin will never have a lofty market value, it means a lot to you and your family.

Hang onto it and spend it in June or July 2026. I'm saving them up along with the dual-dated Kennedy halves for tips during the 250th.

I do not think I would spend this Ike, but that is a good idea for the handful of bicentennial quarters I have in a tube.
