I have both of the ways you could get a 2017S in OGP already. As I do with some favorites, I decided to pick up a "raw" or as I call it "orphaned" version. I can't tell what it's from, my best guess would be the Congrats set, as it was in an aftermarket direct fit capsule. If it was from the limited edition set, it probably would be in the mint capsule. Anyways, some one had it for sale online and seemed to be a reputable seller, so I'm not worried about it being fake. The capsule was a little scratched up so I did just swap it into a new direct fit Ev#333;Core cap.

Nice. I hope the lint or whatever is not on the inside of the capsule. John1

Quote: The Total Mintage for This 2017 Proof was 123,799, with issue price @ $ 54.95 That's what I have for the Congrats set. It's hard to reconcile how the Congrats set was a "set". I'm sure others do as well. The ASE and folder make it a set? But that was the cheap way to get it. To compare, the individually issued 2017W was $55.95, so it cost about the same, very close anyways. I decided to just check ebay to see if anyone had one like this or I would have considered buying a graded example. But I was really happy to find one that was popped out from whatever it was in. Again I'd guess a Congrats set.
