Very nice! I really like the Great Collections photos. I just wish everything else about their site measured up.

That's a nice looking buffalo. I've sold and bought a few coins on great collection s and I don't have any complaints. It's pretty much Teletrade with a different name. If you put a bid on a coin early on you can get lucky and end up winning some at great prices. I would say it's more of a buyers market for the common date mid grade coins.

Unfortunately, that price is out of my range. Beautiful coin though.

An Amazing coin I saw listed a couple weeks ago. Lucky be the person who wins this. Would've been an unbelievable toned Buffalo nickel to my set, but I misplaced a digit in the price I was willing to bid. I'm sure it's going to a nice home though!

Posted by adam126402 Posted 10/03/2024 7:22 pm Quote:The other thing about GSC is they do have a large following of people nearly 18,000 subscribers and almost everything they sell sells at a premium relative to just about any other dealer on ebay. And as said, lots of doctored photographs and doctored coins. My dealings with Great Collections have been superb. 0% sellers fee on coins/banknotes that sell for over $1000 and a 5% commission on coins/banknotes that sell for under $1000 and a buyers fee of 10%. I see it as a win win situation. They have carved out a very nice niche and the quality of their consignments have been increasing dramatically. Just a superb Buffalo nickel that just pops.

Doctored photos and coins - oh, ok. 99% of what GC sells is in a slab.
Every slabbed coin I have purchase thru GC looks JUST like the images.
