Hello, so I would like to get the community opinion on this. It's a penny before 1982 but that's about all you can get from the coin. Not sure if it would be worth sending in to get graded or not. All input is welcome. Thank you

Hey that is a super-nice off center strike! With that little bit of Lincoln Memorial visible, you know that it was minted no earlier than 1959.

Nice off center. Not quite sure what the extra marks on the reverse are. Maybe nothing. See if someone can explain.

Nice Off Center! Not worth slabbing in my opinion though.

Yeah after 1958 and before 1982. What's your thoughts for why not getting it slabbed? It would be good to protect it from any damage and if wanted to sell it should bring higher amount no?

Someone smarter than I am will have to weigh in to confirm or gently correct, but my recollection is that @tropicalbats or one of our other experts described that for these extremely far off center coins, the flan can rattle around a bit as the die comes down and there tends to be remnant gouges near where the die did make contact.

Chizzy, getting a coin certified is not inexpensive, and would cost much more than this coin is worth.

Looks like a 82D small date...
All joking aside...really cool how only IN and ON was minted.
Not worth slabbing unless ANACS has a 10 for 10 special.
