...When you buy some "junk silver" and upon looking through it, say "Hey, this is a lot nicer than the one I have in my album! This one, too!"

I wish this wasn't true.

haha, thats how I viewed my collection when I was a kid. I actually counted it all up at face value at one point and was like, "wow, I've got almost $200" here!"

Om617, that doesn't mean you've got a low-end collection, it just means you got a nice lot of "junk silver".

...your Wheat Cents are all from bulk bags or circulation finds!

(and you're prouder of the semi-key's that you found in the above ways,
versus any keys you paid fair market value for!)

Yeah, this is hitting a little too close to home. Are you guys saying there's a better way?

Let's not go ragging on low end coins. They are, after all, the most affordable and probably the most collected coins.

Where do I get those smiley faces and other emoticons?

Tonyspics, instead of filling in the white box at the bottom of the thread, click on the "reply to topic" link and you get all these icons:

...instead of over-hearing your kids arguing abot who gets the coins, they're fighting about who "gets stuck" with them.

I know this is an old thread, but had to put my 2 cents in...

I've gotta get in on this one too.... You offer them to a dealer and he suggests you turn them in at the bank
