In God we trust is of no concern to me here, wrong area to be looking for doubling. My ear area however is the correct area to be looking. Wexler has a 1997 p doubled ear matching the area of interest. Wexlers shows doubling bellow the ear lobe mine shows doubling right of the ear. the question mark in my title is to see if anyone else has a ear variety listed from the 90s

Decaf94drew, the last one to reply to you is one of two people that have taken over Wexler and is capable of understanding and responding to your question. If you would think about what he said, you would understand that it makes perfect sense, the doubling is in the same direction as what is on "IN GOD WE TRUST". I have noticed you tend to have already made up your mind when you post something and will not listen to others, that is why I very seldom respond to your threads. Lots of good folks here to help but you need to be open minded.

This is a bit beyond my expertise here, so I'll watch and see if I can learn something..

A lot of the time I stop answering because I feel it's not worth bringing up old stuff. I accept DDD on the coin as a whole yes so am I willing to budge, yes. After scrutinizing it further id actually lean more towards abrasion doubling for the ear. I over looked the polishing before hand. So yes I'll admit I "look" like a jerk a lot but I try my best to not argue with others. Maybe it would be best for me to come back after the fact on things I fome to understand after further inspection and agree or share my findings with others to get more engagement. I'm not unreasonable. I may be a little to enthusiastic at times also, is how I'd put it. This is just Another lesson learned. No biggie. so to clarify for those keeping count it's been the 1927 DDO and this 21 DDO aside from that I will full heatedly agree the rest the posts after further investigation have been DDD and abrasion based already moved on from them so didn't feel the need to further respond to those posts. Just takes me a min to wrap my head around things sometimes. I'm going to try something different this next time I post when engaging with everyone. Also thumbs up for tanman2001 wasn't being rude intentionally if that's how it came across I apologize.

Quote: that is why I very seldom respond to your threads I just took that out of my last response. That was actually incorrect. I very seldom open your threads, so I don't know exactly what you are talking about with the other threads. It's very apparent that you are an intelligent person but need to do some more studying on what you are asking about before you reply to someone who may know more about whatever the question may entail, or at the very least, ask them how to find/explain the answer. Most here, are here to help.

Thank you for that information, I kinda figured there are some who avoid my posts and that's ok. I tend to overlook the bigger picture I've realized. I definitely am finding things on coins but sometimes forget to think about the why. But that's why I'm here. I do value the info shared by others regardless what the answer to my question may be. I think I just need to respond more so I don't come across as such a jerk. Hence why trying to do things different.
