Friday the 13th was good to me this year. This is a top 10 find roll hunting for me. A real beautiful coin with a strong DDO to boot. The reverse is a semi-woody with a very nice patina.

For those of you who have this DDO in MS as part of your collection, do you see a triple die on the eyelid? I can see what appears to be a tripled eyelid but I cannot get a sharp enough image of that I can show here.

But for a couple dings on the obverse rim it looks like AU to me, and according to Coppercoins a $200 cent.

I see it's ranked #32 on the LCR Top 50 DD's.

Very nice coin! I looked at mine and think you'd need a pretty early die state to really say for sure, but the pseudo tripling you see I think is related to die/flow issues and not true tripling. I see something like that on mine, but there's just too much flow to really say anything one way or another.

Thanks for looking TB. Agree, an early die state would confirm either way. A 1942 TDO discovery would be too much to ask for from roll hunt in 2024.
