I just picked up three boxes from a new bank branch and it looks like a penny collection dump. Lots of UNC labeled rolls and George V and George VI enders. Can't wait to hunt these rolls!!

I have a good bank that keeps me all the 1ct coins. They like me because it saves them from shipping them back to the mint. I don't re cash them in and keep them for penny projects. I got 6 months to go through and lots to go through,

My bank would hand me wrappers and tell me to write my account number on the roll, so they know who to contact in case some one complaint!

Yes, back when I was CRH in the 1990s, all the CWR had names and numbers on them. Those were the good old days, when I was dating a teller who called me when those juicy rolls were deposited.

As any collector the coin tubes and marked year rolls have to have some thing in them for varieties, Keep us posted on your finds.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I am about halfway through the boxes, sorting them by date. So far over 140 George V cents and around 50 uncirculated rolls with the oldest being two 1959 rolls.

There was also my first Newfoundland cents (1943 & 1947).
These very colorful cents stood out too (see below).
