I just picked up three boxes from a new bank branch and it looks like a penny collection dump. Lots of UNC labeled rolls and George V and George VI enders. Can't wait to hunt these rolls!! Edited by Enyaw 12/18/2024 1:30 pm

I have a good bank that keeps me all the 1ct coins. They like me because it saves them from shipping them back to the mint. I don't re cash them in and keep them for penny projects. I got 6 months to go through and lots to go through,

Quote: Someone actually turned them in with the plastic tubes? My bank would hand me wrappers and tell me to write my account number on the roll, so they know who to contact in case some one complaint!

Yes, back when I was CRH in the 1990s, all the CWR had names and numbers on them. Those were the good old days, when I was dating a teller who called me when those juicy rolls were deposited.

As any collector the coin tubes and marked year rolls have to have some thing in them for varieties, Keep us posted on your finds.
