My 2025 goals would be as follows 1. Continue CRH and have fun doing it. 2. Purchase a proof version of the current Morgan and Peace dollars to complete the type set. I have a UNC and Reverse proof already 3. Purchase one semi key/key date Morgan dollar4. Make better decisions when purchasing and making fewer impulse buys. 5. Update all my continuing sets with 2025 issues. 6. Prepare for the flurry of issues come 2026!

In 2023, I had the following plans: -1999 Rouble Pushkin in slab -2001 Rouble 10th Anniv. CIS in slab -Obol Pantikapei Bosporan Kingdom of the 4th-3rd centuries BC in slab These same three coins were also part of the 2024 goal. Now I'm giving them up. I didn't make any progress and realized that I didn't need these coins in my collection at all. The rest of my list remains the same as it was in 2024. But as the previous year showed, my money goes to completely different things and most of my replenishments happen when I go on a trip. Plans for 2025: 1) Continue collecting Series American Innovation. This item will probably also be deleted in the near future. 2) Series American Women Quarters. I plan to use the money I save to expand and in the future to purchase both mints P and D. 3) Assemble a complete set of 50 State Quarters for my album. Mint P is fully assembled. Now you need to assemble the mint D. 4)Commemorative coins Georgia: - 10 Lari State System 3000 Years; - 10 Lari 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ. 5) Commemorative coins Armenia: - Set Provinces Series 50 dram 2012; - Set coins 30 years of national currency 2023 - 100 Dram Caucasian otter WWF[; - 100 Dram Armenian silver seagull WWF. WWF coins are too rare and expensive so I will postpone these purchases until better times. 6) Continue collecting regular and commemorative coins of Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Indonesia. 7)Collecting Danco 7070 PCGS. But this point can also be crossed out, since in the current conditions it is practically impossible to replenish it.

My goals are very specific and similar to last year...purchase commens (this year Maine, Connecticut, Pilgrim). Sell off more low value bulky material to fund the previous goal.

Its 10 days till the end of 1st quarter and I'm saving money, so no more purchases for a while. Time for an update: Quote: 1) Add the missing coins to my slabbed 7070. I was able to complete the $1 gold set. Quote: 2) Add the missing coins to my slabbed Indian Head cent I upgraded 3. The 1858 LL, 1874 and 1861. Quote: 3) Add the missing notes to my US currency type set. Although I put this on hold in 2024, I only picked it up in 2025. If someone says "As fake as a $3 bill", I can show this. Quote: 4) Add any missing coins to my coins from Portugal Type Set. Since I was in Portugal I added to my type set, picked up a modern coin and my first Monarchy gold. Quote: 5) Add any missing notes to my currency from Portugal Type set. This one is going to be really hard to even attempt, every note on my list is at least $500, so I may have to pass on this one in 2025. Quote: 6) Upgrade any coins that I can from my albums Since I added a few to my IHC set, I upgraded a few on here. And work continues on my Dollar Date set, currently only missing 2.

Quote: 1. Catch up on processing acquisitions from 2024 (not a lot, for better or for worse, but I seem to be getting more disorganized in retirement). 1Q progress: About 90% caught up
2. Continue to add early dated/datable coins in the 1400s, 1300s and "decade coins" earlier. Last year's goal was 3 to 5, and I wound up with 11 (5 dated and 6 dateable). I'll go with a goal of 5 this year, since I think the dated ones will get tougher. 1Q: Zip
3. Continue to grow collection and knowledge of saints on medieval coins. Last year I added 14 in this theme, and 15 the year before. 1Q: No acquisitions, but continuing to learn.
4. Continue work on Numista catalog. I've still got some cleanup/restructuring in early Low Countries coins to complete. 1Q: Added a co-referee to help in Low Countries, and added 215 listings to the catalog, mostly medieval Italy.

I'm buying some bullion now as a hedge and a Legacy investment. I ordered more gold, which is an expensive investment for me. I bought my first Morgans and they fascinate me so I suspect I'll be picking off one or two a month.
I want to improve my camera and photo skills. And I want to fill in a Libertard collection, which will take time and capitol. I want to sell off much of the non coin related junk Ive acquired over the years in order to buy more coinage.
Mostly I want to learn. I'm quite taken by the topic.

Move my world coins from 2x2 holders (stored in 12 pocket Dansco pages) into various hole sized of standard Dansco pages. If I do it right I should be taking photos as well.

Q1 Update! Quote: 1. Spend more time enjoying and looking at my collection, rather than focusing exclusively on filling holes. Use this time to narrow my collecting focus and figure out what items I'd like to sell, trade, or give away. Given financial constraints, don't begin collecting any additional series. Haven't spent as much time enjoying my collection as I'd like, but I did get several days to work with my coins during winter weather. On a positive note, I decided what sets to focus on and have sold and traded multiple coins. I used that money to invest in other parts of my collection. But I already broke the last part of this goal, because I started a type set of modern commemorative silver dollars. Quote:2. Fill at least one hole in each of my Three Cent Nickel, Barber dime, Washington quarter, and Australian shillings sets. I've added one Three Cent Nickel and one Washington quarter. No Barber dimes yet. I've decided to put the Australian shillings on hold, per Goal #1. Quote: 3. Fill three holes in my Mint Set collection. No progress here. Quote:4. Acquire at least 6 modern US coins on my Want List. I've filled at least 6 holes! Quote: 5. Fill at least three holes in my Dansco 7070. I've filled at least 3 holes! Quote: 6. Transfer at least half my coins from 2x2s and Mint Sets to Dansco albums. Keep existing inventory up to date with new purchases. I've made good progress on transferring my coins to Dansco albums. I've cut up and transferred all my pre-2011 mint sets and only have my Lincoln cents and Jefferson nickels to move from 2x2s. I'm a little behind on keeping my inventory up to date, but getting close!
