What are your thoughts on grading this coin? Is the VF marking on the 2x2 accurate? Thanks!

Probably no better than F details, but the damage to the coin trumps the grade.

I agree with "F(12) Details--Damaged." Whoever marked it as VF seems disingenuous if they did so when trying to sell the coin.

F details, damaged. Looks like scratches from an old harsh cleaning and possibly a dent from a BB gun?

to the CCF

F- Details with serious damage on the obverse at the end of the feet. Can't tell from these photos if these are chop marks as suggested or just holes - but big time damage regardless.

Also cleaned and retoning.
