Hello everyone. With a little bit of reading I have found that this die was retired early in the run. Ironically being replaced with another similar die. DDO-007. Later the reverse was replaced and DDO-007 had two different reverse dies.
In its current die state, the obverse of my coin is covered in die scratches. I imagine it was retired shortly afterwards. This coin was originally housed in a NGC case and graded a 65! I'm planning on finally biting the bullet and submitting a bunch of coins this week. Wish me luck.
Thanks for looking and happy holidays!

Very clear doubling and I'm amazed at how many die scratches there are on the obv.

Thanks guys. I've finally figured out how to post images from my iPhone. Next step good pictures. I love buying coins but do not share the same passion for photography.

Nice DDO! It's interesting how the die was retired early.

Very cool, Will! An obviously very disturbed obverse die, to the point it was replaced. I would guess an extreme clash, to the point it was worked over so much that the devices were no longer legible enough to show what it should and was retired.
