This coin is listed in an auction as off center but it looks strange to me. Is it off center or something else? Would it be worth pursuing?

- broadstrike. It would be a nice addition to your collection, Seeker.

Thanks! Error-ref page wouldn't load for me. No one is bidding on it so I might be able to get it cheap.

I agree, it is a centered broadstrike, worth $5-$6

Yes! Good luck and be sure to post better pics to this thread once you have the coin in hand.

I'll know tomorrow night ( auction ends 19 hours, estate auction). I think I have a good chance at it because just from what I'm following there are very nice classic coins. All VF or better.

Also going for about a 20% off center (south) 1988 cent. The date is by the rim.

I didn't get either of them. This coin wasn't worth $20 to me and the off center went for $30.

Good call, Seeker - that's way too much. There will be more of each, and if you're patient you'll be able to sneak one.
