1964 D Nickle with errors
What are these rings in the center?
Also my son says the lines in the field are called 'cold metal flow?'

More than likely, damage from a bubble gum machine, seen quite often.

to CCF.

The "Cold metal lines" are called 'Radial flow lines' - which are formed as the die wears out and is continually stretched and contracted from the extreme pressure of the coining machines.
