I am excited about this one! I like the look of the coin because 1) it is a better strike than many I have seen in higher grades (save 4 to 5 o'clock on the reverse, which matters less to me than the shield on the obverse and the stars/rays on the reverse) and 2) it didn't cost and arm and a leg. Def not my area, but both sides look very clean and free of dings or anything else. I'll go MS63 maybe 64.
The only thing I don't like is that spot on the "I" on the obverse.

I hope the discoloration inside the shield did not net it to Environmental damage. Otherwise it does look like it could go 63 or 64.

I agree with the grade also. It's a solid 63, not overgraded, not undergraded.

the slab photos show the luster a lot better. I had it at MS63 also and finding one with a full shield strike is not easy. nice coin. my favorite Shield nickel with those rays.
