to the CCF, Rimshot. Your coin does not look genuine to me. Can you post a picture of the reverse?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

to the CCF That is a play money 'coin'. It is not a genuine US Mint product.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Jackie Kennedy was not happy with the first 1964 making because she thought there was too much hair so became accented hair. This coin would make her scream.

To CCF! Your coin is play money. It's not a genuine half dollar. It's a fake.

When I got my change after my purchasing an itemfrom the store. The pictures don't give it justice but it feels real it's not plastic I don't think anyone has seen a coin like this I'm still researching it . How would I know if it's the real thing and if it is how much would it be worth

Definitely not real but I am curious how much it weighs compared to a real half dollar.

Quote: How would I know if it's the real thing and if it is how much would it be worth You have been told by world class experts that it is fake and as such has zero numismatic value. Apparently you are not convinced. OK - go do your research and come back with your results, but I'm done with this topic.
