1939 D Jefferson Nickel Grade? Reverse Of 38?

Bump111 Pillar of the Community United States 3135 Posts	Posted 02/17/2025 2:06 pm Yes - this appears to be Rev of 1938. Steps look right, but I usually look at the serif atop the S in PLURIBUS. If there is a defined serif, it is Rev of '40. I don't see one on your coin but it can be hard to spot in photos. Grade - I'm thinking mid-AU.
