This seller's peddling 1921 Peace dollars for $20 apiece .... https://www.ebay.com/itm/387930986154Looks like one needs to copy & paste the url. Take a look at his other coin bargains, including an 1890-CC, with the CC looking to be a Chinese Counterfeit. Edited by ExoGuy 02/23/2025 6:28 pm

I'm feeling a little unsettled with this offering. I'd walk.

Perhaps a giant stash of beautiful 1921 Peace dollars was found in Sugar Land, Texas, Hong Kong and the seller wants to share their good fortune with everyone on ebay.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Classic "use a real coin photo and then ship a Chinese fake" scam.

Quote: Classic "use a real coin photo and then ship a Chinese fake" scam. This is rapidly becoming the new "norm" with ebay. Pictures of real coins, multiples conveniently available and ships from a "new" Seller account in China. ebay doesn't care as long as the Seller ships "something" and they keep getting their fees. I used to feel bad for people that buy this type of junk. Not so much though nowadays. They have no one to blame anymore except themselves. "Stupid is as stupid does." Sad.

I reported it to ebay. I already have a response, they said the listing is fine and will be taking no action.
