Just to add to what Oasis said, one dollar worth of Canadian silver coin equals 0.6 ounces no matter how it's added up. 10 dimes = 0.6 oz, 1 50c + 2 quarters = 0.6 oz, etc. Just like us 90%, it can be bought and sold at "X" times face, regardless of denomination.
