How would you grade this one?

Is that a scratch in the holder below TY on the obverse or in the coin? I'll take a stab and say MS64+ Looks very well struck, nice luster and all, at least to my amateur eyes.

The two hits on the shins hurt an otherwise very strong coin. There is a significant mark in the upper right obverse field above the arm too. I still think it's solidly 64 though. Color, strike and luster look good.

Very nice looking Saint. I'm going with MS64 on it.

PCGS and CAC came to a consensus. I am NOT great at grading things once we get above 64. I noticed most of you would have graded this 64, and we even got one vote for 62. Do you think PCGS and CAC got this one wrong? The scratches are few, but there are those two sizable ones in the obverse field, as well as a couple of hits on Liberty's shin. Thanks for your time and opinions.

Nice coin and grade! PCGS and CAC evaluated the coin in hand, and it would be hard to claim they were both wrong after just viewing photos.

Mint State gold coins are graded heavily on luster and color. I'm sure this one has great color and color giving it happens to 65. Surface pressure finishing wise I would have guessed 64.
