numismo, You did it, you did it! Great find! I have probably search a million or more Lincoln Cents for Varieties and Errors but have yet to find a 1983-P "DDR-001" Cent. I have found lots of others including what I believe is a new DDR Variety for the 2006-P Cent but not that one! I will try to get some decent pics of the coin for you all to see and get Chuck's (of Coppercoins) opinion. Frank

Congrats! I found one about a year ago but it looked like it had spent a week under a BurgerKing drive-up window. It is in one of the scrap jars, if I can find it I will post. Jim
