VF30 - fear that the Obv scratch might details it.
I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

Looking at this on my phone, I'd say F15. I don't think the obverse scratches would detail it. However, on the reverse it looks like something abrasive was used on the coin above and below "One Dime." Maybe that details it?

Anyway, definitely not the expert here, so will be curious what others have to say.

The reverse lines may be die polishing from a slightly rotated die clash (around 15-20 degrees). The area between DIME and the bow appears to have the letters LIB from LIBERTY clashed. If that was the rotation, the clash above ONE would be the knot and ribbon from the hair behind the neck.

The leaves left of the bow are unusually flat on this coin. To my eyes, the obverse looks F-15 and the reverse, except for the flattened leaves, is also F-15. Nice circulation cameo on this coin. Those depression era coins are tough. I think it will straight grade.

I had this one at F+ floor was slow wanted $90 I got it at $80 a little steep for raw but the coin looks strong in hand most signs of any old cleaning have re toned nicely orange black blue. My thoughts were a straight grade. Sore disapointment with a barber table many raw overgraded better date pre 1900 dimes in F labled XF and VF+ as AU I tried subtle courtesy explaining I'm intrested in purchasing several ready to buy dealers
price rigid no negotiations period. Held my tounge remembering don't burn bridges and grading is subjective. He had a blue green orange 1894 P in mid AU marked MS64 sigh...still had fun these better dates in Fine a slow crawl.

Coin came back from ANACS VG-10 straight thought it was slamm dunk
F-12. ANACS has tightened up a bit in the right direction imo. Studied coin and if rigid ANA standards adhered to coin misses Fine. Had fun finding this one raw on bourse floor. Not many dealers have Barber dime inventory.
