Ordinarily, I don't go in for toning, but this coin caught my eye. $15.50 on ebay with free shipping. Curious if you guys think the wild toning pattern is the result of poor alloy mixing, contact with tape, something else? The streaks are essentially parallel on both faces. ebay pics:   My pics:   |

I like it as well. Putting a set of toners together myself, in raw form, I have a few that look similar. Blue/violet stripes, and often pondered on how they occur or why myself.
