I have to watch out. My hand seems to control itself like "Thing" in The Adams family TV show we used to watch as kids. I just blew a ton on bullion yet here I am again looking at MSD's.

I call the virus "Morganavirus". If the old Lady knew what I blew in just the last week on silver/gold bullion, Morgans, WW2 collectables, she'd freak out so you know what ?

I just wont tell her.

Yeah its hard to get the wife to understand how you just spent $600 on a coin that has a silver melt value of $25.

I just dont understand how they dont "get it" ?

I would say we all have our particular coins we favor and do understand the Morgan. My first love is the Morgan dollar (she is just so purdy!), short of the 1921, other than for cheap bullion (I think they look SO different) and then oddly enough, my second is the Lincoln Cent (Wheats and Memorials). I do like the half though, jacrispies!

In all honesty I wish I had the cash to only collect. Coin collecting and understanding it has opened an entire world to me but I also have a responsibility to stack PMs as well for rainy days or for my family after I croak.

But make no mistake. I'd love to spend the rest of my life chasing that next "one" coin if I could.
