It was issued when the future Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand I was King of Bohemia and Hungary. That seems like it'd be fun; and, for these denars, relatively affordable. (Who can actually afford to put together a date set of something like US half dimes?) january1may Pillar of the Community Russian Federation 5172 Posts	Posted 06/08/2025 02:05 am The problem with doing a date set of Hungarian denars is that the denomination was (nearly) continuously minted, with minimal variations, from 1503 until 1760 or so, with the 18th century dates in particular increasingly scarce. I do know of some attempts of putting together date sets limited to the (easier) 16th century; I don't recall if any of them managed the full set even for that period. Report this Post to the Staff
