Since the rim is still present in that area I suggest a grease filled strike.

For me, there is too much circulation wear to know what LIBERTY looked like when this coin was struck. I do see a potential lam over by the date.

I agree with partially grease filled. The letters IN are also very weakly struck.
It also has been well worn after it was struck which adds to the week look.

Likely a grease issue. Yes, appears to be a modest lamination issue too. Must ask, what does the reverse look like? Thanks.

Liberty is a mess, in is almost gone= grease on die. IGWT is fuzzy= DDD and lam from end of date up to r in trust.

I'm thinking it's a Greaser as well. If the weight is normal, then it's a Greaser.
