I found this cent the other day and to me it looks like a clipped planchet. As I have never found one before can you guys please give me your opinions? Thanks!

Looks good with a bit of the Blakesley effect present and the rim area of the clip shows the shearing/tearing from the punching machine. Nice find.

Nice Find FSDwarp10! Marve65 thanks for the info on Blakesley effect as well, knowledge obtained! Is that a bit of Rim Fin near Liberty? Is that even possible with the rest of the errors on this coin?

I'm voting PMD on this one. I'm not seeing any Blakesly effect, although that is not necessarily a good indicator. But there is no weakness of the letters adjacent to the "clip". Also, there should not be a "rim" in the clipped area. Compare it to this coin from my collection that has a clip of about the same magnitude and location as the coin in question.
