Bought both of these Coronet Liberty Head Large Cents on USA C B for 56.20. One is from 1819; the other one is from 1825. Just wanted to share my recent purchases with you.

Very nice acquisitions, Errers! Are you assembling a large cent set?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Nice pickups EV
I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

Yes, I am. It's been pretty fun so far. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford the ones from the 1700's unfortunately. They're super expensive, way over my budget, and hard to find. I think the farthest I'll go to is 1800.

Not bad . The 1825 has a mintage of just under 1.5 million. Wonder how many are really left?

Thank you, Marve65. I tried to pick the best ones out of the bunch on USA C B.

With how worn most of the survivors are, probably not too many left.

Good luck on your book set. I started about 15 years back. It's one of the most difficult sets(too many varieties that I can't distinguish or identify) that I ever attempted. Mine is probably 90% complete. Best of luck.
