it will be one of the keys to the series.

...I don't consider these to be part of the series.

Nor do I. I feel the same way about all the other gold coins as well—Mercury, Standing Liberty, Walking Liberty, and Kennedy. They are tributes to the series, not part of them.

The series inclusion argument is stronger for the Morgan and Peace dollars of 2021 to date, and many will still not include them.

However, if anyone wants to include them to complete their sets, I will not argue against their choice. After all, I feel like no Eisenhower dollar collection is complete without the 1990, 2013, and 2015 offerings.

You maybe be joking, but you may be correct.

jbuck I'm hoping God will give me the extra days to see if it comes true...
I don't think the Sacagawea series will withstand those many years of production, I think it will be cut short soon...

I am not even sure the minting of new coins will be around that long.

I think you might be right, jbuck, considering just about everyone has credit cards (even those on public assistance), and then there is talk of cryptocurrency.

I think the Sacagawea are very handsome coins and pay nice tribute to our native Americans but its the premiums that drive me away and I have small confidence in gold numismatic face value coins despite their beauty and despite the current gold madness.

The exception being some of the Euro-Empire numismatics with interesting mintage years but even they take a long time to accrue investor interest and even then on a case by case preference, usually depending on the Sov represented. Lately it seems their value has been their price vis a vis their melt value and any old gold coin has that. If anything the many are hard to unload due to their defiant eccentricities.

Of course there are exceptions, most of all Yank and Brit ones but Ive seen some fine French, Spanish, Italian, and other gold Sov's that are lovely enough to have more interest then they have had. I think likely its the Kraaazy prize of gold driving this madness.

But it is what it is and there are many 1/2 oz gold coins out now that spark value in the stacking communitydue to low premiums. The Bullion Exchange, which I vouch for, has 1/2 oz Philharmonics for $1,707.74 which equate to $3,415.48 an oz. . A full oz going for $3,363.65 and a premium of $26.29 per coin which ain't bad considering gold is on an upswing.

It put 1/2 oz bullion coinage back within reach of the working stiff thru an established and popular gold coin. Even 1/2 oz Gold Eagles have stayed below insanity at $1,727.90. Lunch money above the Philharmonics.

I dont own 1/2 oz'er and am kicking myself for not buying Phil's at the dip tho even still theres a case to be made for them. They are handsome coins indeed.
