There is definitely a lot of staining on this coin.
The "item" doesn't appear struck through to me but just stuck to the surface. I'm not seeing any incuse area under "it".
Is the part that is lifted over the W of WE?
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Don't see any damage to rim which would lead me to believe it was a Rim Fin.
Plus, I was able to move the part of the object not embedded with a piece of paper, so unless a thin strand of wire, don't even know if it is metal.
Since there is other "damage" to that part of the coin, could it have been sturck through a fabric ribbon, and that's all which is left?
Just spit-balling.
May take Marve's suggestion and send it off to ANACS to see what they say.
