Bought this from the same antique store as the 1936 DDO FS-102 cent, but from another coin dealer there.

He had several sheets of mixed denomination coins in 2×2's that were labeled oddities and errors where I found this nickel. Interestingly about half of those coins were definitely not errors, but post mint damage of various types mixed in with real errors. So yeah, being the coin nerd I am, it was pretty easy to distinguish both.

Then this coin showed up, one of the largest ever lamination peels I have ever seen on a War Nickel. I paid a very fair $12.50 for this, which to me was a good price.
(ND)-P War Nickel, 3.25g (normal is 5g), diameter normal... (P.S., no observable RPM)

Beautiful piece. What does it weigh?

It's better than a severe lamination. This would be considered a "split after the strike".
I bought both pieces of 1942 P Good 4 by ANACS in 2023 with about the same amount of the reverse unaffected.

I mentioned the weight above as ~3.25g.

And split after strike was one idea floating through my mind at one point.

That is a cool coin. The only thing about lam issue coins to me is that they have no eye appeal.

Wow, that is one intense lamination! Cool error coin. Must be a pretty neat antique store to visit. =)
