I'm looking at a small collection for a friend & need some help with these 4 coins. I'm assuming that top 2 are Greek or Roman and the bottom are middle eastern. Other than that I don't have a clue. The top 2 coins are about 18 mm diameter and weigh 7.9 grams. The bottom 2 coins are about 20 mm diameter and weigh 1.8 & 3.2 grams.

I wonder if the upper left coin isn't a Probus from Egypt. Here is a link to one on acsearch for comparison:

The top two coins are 3rd century Roman tetradrachms from Egypt. I can't read enough of the legend to be sure who the emperor is, but the left one seems to be probably Diocletian?

The bottom two coins are Islamic; I agree, probably Middle Eastern, maybe around 14th or 15th century. Can't identify them further at the moment.

The top right coin appears to be a tetradrachm of Maximian with L Γ (date) across field on reverse.

The "ΟΥΑ" of Α Κ ΜΑ ΟΥΑ ΜΑΞΙΜΙΑΝΟCCΕΒ can be seen behind the back of his head.

Thanks for the help. The family lore about the top 2 coins is interesting. One of their ancestors was a crew member on the USS Vandalia when Ulysses S. Grant traveled to Egypt and the Holy Land. The coins were supposedly picked up in Cairo by the crew member.
