In the "TYPICAL DIE CLASHES" section of the Mad Die Clashes website, it appears they overlooked a key feature of the 1887 Indian cent — On the Obverse, a significant and well-defined part of the wreath, also part of the C of Cent, shows in front of the face. To illustrate this, I'm posting two Indian cent examples from my collection that clearly show these clashes, which are not documented on their page... The first Picture is the Mad Die Clashes website illustration: The following picture outlines the die clashes on one of my coins:
My two Indian coins in question: Side Note: What is the procedure I should follow? Write to the Mad Die Clashes website about the extra die clashes on the 1887 Indian cent that they have missed? Or, I my be totally confused...

Thank you, smat45; yes, they are lovely... (They are not rate)I first bought the greenish-toned cent because of the " C" clash in front of the Indian eye. I looked for this type of clash, but couldn't find the exact one for the 1887 date. I did find a similar clash on an earlier date (I think it was 1884, not sure)... About 8 months later, I spotted the second Indian with the same die clash on the obverse, matching my first Indian cent. Well, you know, I had to have it.

Those are really fine IHCs, CoinForMe, with excellent clashes to boot!

Nice clashes.
All I can suggest is to send an email to Maddiesclashes and include a link to this thread. It may garner some interest, and they may want to look at your coins in hand.

Petespockets55, thanks for the suggestion. .. I had considered that, but was hoping someone here with a good connection to Mad Die Clashes might be able to take it further. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, they show the same obverse clash—but on a coin with an earlier date.

@CoinForMe ... Sure thing, let me find the section of my computer that I have this info you asked for, give me some time. The making of my "Copystand" with the axial setup was seen on another coin website about a year ago. Jbuck, if you're reading this: Should I post it here or make a new thread on the making of my Copystand? This info is old news to some that visit the other coin website?
