hi all, just found this guy in pocket change. On the obverse, the part on the R is raised but the U I'm not sure. On the reverse, it looks like there may be a light die crack? On the reverse, the upper left corner of the doorway is off, not sure that it is a mint error, though. Thoughts? Edited by Lena123 08/05/2025 10:37 am

Can't give you a definite answer about the obverse, however with the reverse I'm pretty confident that is a big ole' gash ( PMD )

Yes to me it looks like a die chip on the letter R, but damage near the letter U. It *could* be a very small strike through, but there is some denting of the rim in the same area so my money is on that being damage instead.

Good eye on the die chip. The rest appear to be PMD.

Is the feature near the R a raised or incuse object? It would be a strange shape for a die chip. I agree that the scratch above the building and the mark on the door frame are just PMD. Snail king makes a good suggestion about the bottoms of the doors.

Your coin could very well also be a DDR.

Quote: Looks to me you should be looking at the floor! Might be an extra floor in doorway and in tall window to the left I noticed that, too, and forgot to mention it. Quote: Is the feature near the R a raised or incuse object? It is raised. Guess I will keep this one set aside to check out later. Thanks all.
