I don't have this coin in hand yet. Based on these photos, where would you grade this IHC? Thanks for all opinions!

I'll guess MS-63.
Errers and Varietys.

Nice pickup, Reverse far stronger than Obverse. I think it nets 63-64ish. Might be worthy of a quick round of VerdiCare to address the Reverse at 12:30

Looks quite good. I'd go with MS63+.

In spite of the obverse nicks on the cheek and jaw, I think this would be a 63 as well. Not sure what the mark above the nose is.

Nice cherrypick! Great S-1 TDO/QDO! I will go MS62BN.
I have cherrypicked this example twice in MS. One raw that graded MS63BN and another in a MS64RB holder. Both were lucrative cherrypicks!

Nice pick-up..... ........I'm wondering... Quote: Might be worthy of a quick round of VerdiCare if any conservation has already been performed on this coin, due to the "lighter/lack of toning" spot near the last A in America then with the reverse on the sheild, after the T of Cent, on leaf @ 8:30....like I said just wondering......Others ?

IMO, I would return this raw coin. I thought the surfaces looked messed with and it looks like corrosion on the periphery on the obverse to the left, to me at least. I was curious if this might be a crackout and was looking through sold listings. You could have bought an MS64, 64RB, or 63RB for less money.
Edit: I just read one of the comments above, looks like this is a valuable variety, so nvm what I said.

i think the photos are hiding what the real surfaces look like. the coin looks like it was cleaned (dipped) and the original skin removed.
I'm at UNC details (cleaned) until you post in-hand photos. be careful with you lighting so that it shows what the surfaces actually look like

I think the seller's photos washed the coin with too much light. This is a more accurate representation of the true color. Under the scope/light, the surfaces look original.
