Here is a 2008D LMC that has what appears to be die cracks or a bad planchet, with bubbling between the Zinc and Copper. I think its a bad planchet? Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Serious plating issues, perhaps influenced by a bad/flawed zinc core?

My vote is linear plating bubbles through Abe and LIBERTY plus a die crack through IGWT. Hard to know for sure though.

I would have to lean towards the plating issues too, because of the fact the areas in question are lining up exactly with the very obvious roller lines (obverse & reverse), due to some contaminates under the plating. I suppose there could be something else happening in conjunction with this but find it highly unlikely. Just my opinion.
