I see the 18 coin clad proof sets are selling for 35 to 45 bucks with or without free shipping on ebay. If I want the LP 1 2 3 and 4 cents they are getting $22. ish prices just by themselves in a 4 coin plastic flat. I don't collect the others except the nickel and I have a single 2009 proof nickel on the way. I want the mint set. I need the satin finish coins.

This year I think I'll actually buy the Clad Proof Set, in addition to the Silver Proof Set. It'll be my first modern (post-1991) Clad Proof Set. The Bronze Lincoln Anniversary Cents that are included 'talked me into it'... (also, the set has a 2009 Nickel and a 2009 Dime, which will be my first of either one! )

I got the email too, woohoo!
I think its crazy this will be the first 2009 dime or nickel I've seen.
Also, do you think that these sets containing all 4 of the lincoln cents will lessen the craze over the 3rd and 4th releases? It might calm it down some since this will put them out there for alot of collectors before the actual release dates.

If the U S Mint starts this coin reserve, anything is possible, this will have an effect on ALL coinage from that day on.......

A little something from the Denver Mint Gift Shop: The Cents that made me fork over $29.95 : My first 2009 Nickel and 2009 Dime are in here: The COA (I highlighted the most important sentence! ) One lady in line before me bought ten sets! (must have been for the grandkids! ) Another guy told the Mint cashier "I'm just buying this to get the Cents, I can't find them in circulation." (that wasn't me, because I have found Log Cabin Cents in my change...) Yes, scott3270, notice that the 'lens' (plastic case) is configured so that you can view the edge lettering of the Native American Dollar (like the 'lens' that the Pres. Dollars are in). This lens also lets you see the Clad 'sandwich' edges of the JFK Half-Dollar and the Dime.

I don't like the 'blank area' to the right of Sacagawea, either... They could have put a larger "In God" on the left, then "We Trust" on the right to fill a bit of that empty space. I got the "Where's the date?" question twice when I've spent some of the 2009-D Native American dollars.
