Here's a pic of my "No-S" 2009 Proof Set, which also includes
the 'godless' "No-Motto" Native American Proof Dollar!

OMG DNA you had me rollin. 2009-Clad-Proof-Sets-From-Mint then 2009-Clad-Proof-Sets-From-Mint

I just bought one with buy it now on the auction site for 37.50 shipped. I'll probably sell off everything but the Lincolns to offset the premium. Hope to get a nice mint set somehow. I have to at least get the satin finish nickels and cents.
If anyone is ordering mint sets for 2009 and can help me out, please let me know. I'll shoot the money to you to cover shipping and cost to get it to me.

I don't know if they are sold out, I just went to the bay. If I could find my order sheet I get from the mint every year, I would have used that. I just have it misplaced. I used to buy proof eagles, but gave that up at some point. I still get the mail from the mint if I want anything. I can't take chances as I guess I'll make the complete set of Lincolns with proofs and satins for 2009. That would be 20 coins alone.
8 Gem BU from circ. 8 Satin mint set examples and 4 proofs. Jeeze. Then I still need two Gem BU nickels and two satin finish nickels from the mint sets.

This lens also lets you see the Clad 'sandwich' edges of the JFK
Half-Dollar and the Dime.
I questioned that as well, but then I decided that the dollar would look "out of place" if they did not do all of the coins this way.

I don't like the 'blank area' to the right of Sacagawea, either...
Neither do I!

They could have put a larger "In God" on the left, then "We Trust" on the right to fill a bit of that empty space
I agree. They could look at Sacagawea's neighbour to the left to see how it should have been done!

Received my 2009 Proof Sets Sat (6/6), ALL FOUR CASES. I've been putting a set in the Eagle Coin Albums for easy viewing, but starting with the State Quarters, then the Presidential dollars, and now the Lincoln Cents, it will take more albums to house these sets in; and there not cheap! Aw, for the good old days, when a Proof Set consisted of 5, or 6 (dollars) coins.

I got a subscription for the silver set but am now thinking of going clad also. I am not sure if I can justify it though since the silver should be coming in.

The edge-view 'lens' for these four coins will of course
look much better in the Silver Proof Set, because you'll
be able to see the silver reeded edges of the Dime and
JFK Half-Dollar!

Still waiting on my 3 Sets to get here !.......they were shipped Friday.

Also, I changed my mind on getting 3 SF Uncirc. Sets. I deleted that subscription order and in the next couple of days I'll go back in and just order "one" Set of the Uncirculated.

I think I went a little "Lincoln happy" and overkilled my intentions ! And since I've never sold a coin before, nor do I still intend to, that was just an unncessary amount of Sets !......

But man !!........I wonder what those Lincoln Proofs (raw) will be selling for ?.......Kinda makes a fella think....

It looks like the Lincolns (4 coins from 18 coin proof set) are going for around $15-18 on ebay right now.
