Digging through more change and came across this one, it stood out due to how deep the obverse strike looked, with a thicker rim then I was expecting, comparing it to a 1970 S mm, they looked very similar. So I was wondering if this was a proof coin during the No MM years. Id guess its in the RB stage, the full coin pics are with a flash that made it appear more bronze then its actual redish tint, and the scope pics make it appear more red then it really is.

any ideals on if I'm on the right track thinking its just a proof coin?

Not a proof. The rims are not squared and the surfaces show no evidence of field mirroring and frosted devices.

Definitely not a proof. It's a normal Business strike.

I believe you are misunderstanding the Philly mint and how they made their coins.

Philadelphia did not put any mint mark (meaning the P is not there deliberately) until the year 1980.
There are two exceptions:
1. War Nickels 1942-1945 After some NORMAL 1942 with no mint mark, the Philly mint made what are known as "war nickels." Those War Nickels from 1942-1945 made at Philly have a large P above Monticello on the REV.
2. 2017 pennies made ay Philly have a P on them.

Getting a RedBook will be the best thing for you. It lists every US coin made and every mintage (including proofs).

with the others, this would be a business strike cent.
Philadelphia ( no mint mark initially, and a "P" in 2017 only):
Historically, Lincoln cents minted in Philadelphia did not have a mint mark, distinguishing them from those produced at branch mints.
In 2017, a "P" mint mark was added to all Lincoln cents struck at the Philadelphia Mint to commemorate its 225th anniversary.
In 2018 and beyond, Philadelphia-minted Lincoln cents reverted to their customary " no mint mark" status
