Quote:Seems likely given the Mint's recent pricing practices. This year's proof is $3.50 more than last year, which is only $0.50 less than last year's reverse proof.

Well with the end of the proof, then I'll no longer have to custom make my album from 2026 forwards.. The 3 hole page will work out just fine P, D, S Rev Proof I'll just have to make one more 4-hole page for 2025 and add it to my 8188 album, or the beginning of the future 8189 album I'll just swap out the first 3 hole page with a custom 4 hole one. (I have many pages from other dollar album I was 'forced' to change and customize.) like this: This is an old image and is full now, but you get the idea

Hey Dearborn... not sure I understand. The 2024 S proof and RP exist. Are you just saying this is what you're going to do for 2025? Also Curious why you don't showcase the reverses. Kudos to you for your custom Dansco.

I know they're not for everyone, but they've really helped reduce my frustration with collecting coins. As the collections wrap up, I'll probably create custom labeled pages for each one. I don't need the information now, but I might down the road, or it could help whoever ends up with the collection after me.

Yes, for the 2025 I'll do what I did for the 2024 as shown above - that 2024 page shown above is now filled and the proof and rev proof coins in them do show the reverse side up and the P/D are obverse side up. Going forwards 'AFTER' the 2025 is filled I'll use the Dansco album as they designs it with the 3 hole pages (P/D/Proof coins, but the proof coin will be the reverse one instead. I'll use the custom 4 hole page in LIU of the 3 hole for the first page in the next Dansco album so I can have both proofs in it. then just use the default 3 hole for the rest of the years.. Quote: Kudos to you for your custom Dansco. Thank you for the compliment. I'll get some updated images to show you what I mean.

Quote: This is why I use the CAPs blank binder pages I do love CAPS. They are just so darn huge. I currently only have my ASE collection in two of them, and they take up quite a bit of real estate just between those two. And if the Mint keeps putting out 9 ASEs a year it is quickly going to grow into a 3rd!

I hope they change their minds, even if it means minting them at West Point or something silly like that. Quote: You could get a huge Cabinet gun safe to place it into.. That will not fit either.
