I wanted to go .25 cents, but I had to put $1.00 minimum.
Hopefully, he'll accept my offer

What is the point of a ridiculous price like that? Either this joker has too much time on his hands, or......He enjoys being ridiculed!

It's supposed to mean the mint mark is touching the date, but before the 70s or 80s I think the mint marks were randomly punched in and were all around the place.

Now... some idiots or cons try to pass off these as errors and that is what we are looking at here.

In the sellers own words:
Quote:
For bid is an Extremely RARE 1958-D Contiguous Cent. The mint mark is very close to the year date (9).
