This appears to be a 2014 U.S. quarter dollar commemorating the Great Sand Dunes in the America the Beautiful series (for circulation). If you search online you can find photos of this coin in uncirculated condition. Your specimen appears to have been chemically treated to create substantial dark oxidation on the surface.
