I hope everyone is enjoying this mild October day; here is a 1922-S Peace of which I cannot find its description in VAMWorld 2.0 (it's back up!). I thought it may be under an "Alligator Eye" listing... the break has turned into a slim Cud on top of the eye, and it seems to travel up the inside left-of-E tiara ray. Any thoughts are sincerely appreciated!

Thanks, Hondo... yes, it is a Cud; I can't find it in VAM

Not a Cud, refer to Hondo's link. Yes, a very nice autumn day in Virginia, about a 30-degree swing, which is not unusual for this time of year for us. 40-70

I think that's it's a little wide above the eye to be "just a crack"; a crack extends from it. In any event, it doesn't appear to be listed. The Cud-link is partially incorrect; internal Cuds can be formed and are well-known. Here's one on top of the letter I, a blob but very "inland"

Interesting coin and good pick-up for the price.
It's kind of difficult for me with the toning.
Looks like a B1 Reverse design and some die file lines or polishing on the Obverse.
I guess that's where I would start?
Cool looking crack!

Good luck!

I apologize to everyone; in hand, I find that it's a bagmark. A BIG bagmark. I'll be better in the future

Oldgrouchyguy, the fact that it could be a bag mark is really irrelevant, you should read what everyone else has said and study up on what a Cud is. We are all trying to help but you are not taking the help.
