This is my first Franklin half dollar a 1963 D. It was given to me by a friend as a gift which I was happy to receive. You can tell this coin was circulated and spent it's time as a spender. My Dad used to give me one a week as a allowance and between comic books and movies (both a dime in the ealry 50's) got good use. I took a couple of shots of the reverse one to show the wood yoke (made out of American Elm) and the letter D for Denver mint. The other shows the Eagle no one in Congress did not like! Take a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts. A special coin that brings back many memories. Regards all.
