Well Stated Bret, I too signed on 11:33, told 58 minutes, waited to get in, sign in confusion, finally in, ordered in cart, payment, SOLD OUT. Not in any-ones definition of fair, or was this release Ever a level playing field . 60,000 Minted, Authorized Distributors received ? And How much earlier do the AD's receive these sets , Because We are NOT happy, Why are they afforded this Extreme Luxury? Subscriptions took ? Can anyone find out how the approx 52,000 sets were distributed, Before We the Common folk were offered approx 8,000 sets on the day of release!!!!  |

Why was I able to get in the queue about 15 minutes before 11 and get both coins about 3 minutes after 11 while others were on the site much earlier and got nothing? Cloudflare doesn't work it seems to keep people in consecutive order. The Mint should investigate this, explain to the public but I doubt they will.

yep, it cam from the West Point Mint last year - so maybe they recycled the notifications from last year and didn't bother or notice the discrepancy.

Dearborn that's probably the answer, thanks. But I'm hoping for a rare mule coin with the reverses of both coins on one coin, one side W, other side P.....LOL.

Ok now that I'm up to date with this post let me tell you all my experience.
Dreamt last night that I was on a cell phone (mind you I don't own/use one) trying to order and I had to keep swiping left to find the Congrats set on the Mints site and never found it viewed all their other products, then gave up after an hour....weird huh ?
So I got to work @ 20 mins early and opened the Mints site @ 15 mins before release time... got the mints screen saying heavy "traffic" do not refresh products release in 14 mins....ect. Sat there with my heart rate raising ( man I wanted to refresh but didn't) minutes slowly clicking down seemed like forever between each minute then with 2 minutes before release it asked if I was a bot then went back to opening page. 12:02 ET site allowed me to login to my account I put my order in for the Congrats and order was processed/ printed receipt @ 12:06....then since I still had @ 5 mins to linger on/in the site I said what the heck lets get the dual date.. So I'm Elated squared.
Sorry to hear that some of our dedicated collectors missed out.....really would like to know the numbers going to the authorized bulk buyers ?

This is the one I bought from ebay for $250 after wasn't able to get one today I was going to have it graded and this the label I would have choose  |

The Mint may be in need of some changes, but the shipping has been top notch lately! I just checked my orders and both ASEs have been shipped with Tracking showing them on the move with delivery expected Monday.

I agree that they've been shipping promptly, but it's still pathetic that they don't combine shipments for subscriptions that are released on the same date. They're probably the only retailer left that doesn't. The amount of money this wastes has got to be tremendous. |
