1955 D Lincoln Wheat Error? - Coin Community Forum

bjsturg Valued Member United States 70 Posts	Posted 11/09/2025 4:53 pm In the date... the 9 has lost some part. The 5 is all messed up. Looks like PMD, but the "part", ( lack of a better word) that is over the 5 looks nothing like a 5. Is it possible the the 5 was polished out and an attempt to put another number there?
