I'm just curious for my Jefferson nickel collectors who house their coins in Dansco albums.

How exactly did you solve the dilemma of where to house the newer 2006 coins and onwards, basically until now? I had declined to collect these newer coins given the fact that I'm not really that big of a fan of the design. The proofs look quite nice, though. I had decided to give it a go recently.

I have two Jefferson albums, the 7113 and 8113 albums.
It seems for me the most cost effective and practical way to go about this is to add a blank page at the end of each album, since there are also a lot of blank spaces at the end of the last page as well. I'd rather keep everything all together, but I think in this case it would probably be easier to keep the 2006 business strikes in the 7113, and then the proofs in the 8113.

I know they have Dansco albums for both business strikes and proofs of the 2006 and on issues.
Not only are they expensive and hard to come by right now, but it seems kind of a waste of space for 2 pages. I know Whitman has a pretty cool album which consists of all Jeffersons from 2004 and newer. Given all the changes associated with this time, I thought this was pretty cool. Their album, unlike, Dansco, has spots for the West point minted coins. However, there is some variation to which ports are labeled on the third and last page. Some versions I've seen end at 2025, some before. Some after. So.. meh.

How did you guys go about it?

I have a custom "ultra modern" album with blank cents, nickels, and dimes pages. The first nickels page begins with the 2004-2005 Westward Journey nickels and they go on from there with the 2006-date Return to Monticello.

I'm in the same boat right now...Just recently got back around to filling my 8113 album (cracking open mint and proof sets)...I'm thinking on going with 2 blank pages, because we all know the order it goes ( P D S ) then we can place any special finishes at the end of the sequence.
