See a fair number of these. This one is a bit more off the edge than most. The rim is not worn, the reeding is still present. What causes this in a coin?
You don't show a photo of the reverse so it could be either a misaligned die or an of centre strike. ( This is why you should always show both sides of the coin). Seeing that part of one of the letters is missing, it might be worth keeping.
